Held at London’s historic Alexandra Palace on November 16th and 17th, the 2013 UK leg of the VANS WARPED TOUR has now been boosted with the news that ENTER SHIKARI and PARKWAY DRIVE will join the previously announced RISE AGAINST and BILLY TALENT as headliners.

Continuing their self-proclaimed mission statement to “abuse music’s worthless genre boundaries”, St. Albans quartet ENTER SHIKARI’S visceral live experience is set to shake the foundations of Alexandra Palace when they hit WARPED. Since their third album ‘A Flash Flood of Colour’ crashed into the charts at #4, the band have delivered their genre-colliding sound to Europe, North America, Oceania and Japan. WARPED represents their first major London show since they closed 2012 with two major shows at the prestigious Roundhouse venue.

Its an honour to even play let alone headline! and being able to experience that Warped Tour vibe and not have to be crammed into a 400 ton cylindrical object 36,000 feet above the ground for 9 hours is great! Alexandra Palace is such a smashing venue too, very salubrious. If I was a lame-ass, (and I'm not) I'd say we were gonna give this gig 110%. But seeing as that isn't physically possible (and, as we've established, I'm not a lame ass) I won't say that".

Since blasting out of their hometown of Byron Bay on Australia’s east coast, PARKWAY DRIVE’s blend of power, charisma and uncompromising metallic hardcore has captivated audiences the world over. After first hitting the Australian charts with their debut album ‘Killing With A Smile’ and hitting the Top 10 with ‘Horizons’, their third album ‘Deep Blue’ spread word of their talents to a wider international audience – and last year’s ‘Atlas’ cemented their growing stature, all the while expanding their sonic palette while moving into brave new sounds.

Says vocalist Winston McCall: “We are unbelievably excited and honoured to be part of Warped Tour UK 2013! Warped Tour has been a massive part of this band’s lives from before Parkway even existed so to be kicking it in the UK with such an amazing line-up is going to be mental!”

The ascension of ESCAPE THE FATE has reached a new level with the recent release of their fourth album ‘Ungrateful’ – helped in part by the popularity of the title track which has passed 1.7 million views on YouTube. Fronted by the irrepressible Craig Mabbitt, the WARPED show represents the first time that the Las Vegas band have played in the capital since the release of the album, and their knack for blending aggression and melody is sure to receive a roar of approval.

The London leg of the VANS WARPED TOUR can now also confirm the addition of the fast-rising BLOOD COMMAND, Birmingham’s melodic metalcore quintet CYTOTA, grime-metal crossover pioneers HACKTIVIST, Fueled by Ramen’s electro-rockers GHOST TOWN and Wrexham pop-punkers NECK DEEP.

The 2013 UK leg of the VANS WARPED TOUR is already shaping up to be something special following the confirmation of headliners RISE AGAINST alongside the likes of BILLY TALENT and CAPTURE THE CROWN. Now excitement for the event – to be held at London’s historic Alexandra Palace on November 16th and 17th – is ramped up with eighteen new additions to the bill.

Renowned for their visceral live experience, CHIODOS are a thrilling addition to this year’s event – especially with the line-up boasting original members Craig Owens (vocals) and Derrick Frost (drums) who both featured on their key albums ‘All’s Well That Ends Well’ and ‘Bone Palace Ballet’. The band are currently working on their long awaited fourth album which is set to be the first released under a new deal with Razor & Tie.

Having recently released their fifth consecutive Billboard Top 10 with ‘The Afterman: Descension’, the second half of a concept album centred around the Amory Wars that began with last year’s ‘The Afterman: Ascension’, COHEED AND CAMBRIA will bring their combination of eclectic sounds and inspiring narratives to London for the VANS WARPED TOUR.

“The band and I are excited to be returning to the UK after one of our best tours ever around the release of ‘The Afterman’ in late 2012. And because Warped has been a such a big part of our past, it is particularly meaningful to return for this special one-off; with Ally Pally being home to one of our first special moments in the UK.…” says frontman Claudio Sanchez.

If any band can be trusted to establish a raucous party atmosphere, that band would be FLOGGING MOLLY with their anthems such as ‘Drunken Lullabies’ and ‘Swagger’. The septet brand of Celtic punk last roared into London in 2011 in support of their Billboard Top 10 set and fifth studio album ‘Speed of Darkness’.

While the aforementioned bands are all American bands with substantial discographies to their credit, the VANS WARPED TOUR is always eager to help bring the new wave of emerging talent before an audience. One of the bands we’re particularly excited to present this year is Essex quartet THE HYPE THEORY, whose intoxicating blend of power-pop and melodic punk was memorably captured on their 2011 debut album ‘Glory Days’. Their second set ‘Captives’ has recently been released to glowing reviews.

Texan five-piece MEMPHIS MAY FIRE have made substantial progression over the course of their three albums to date with 2011’s ‘Challenger’ (released on Rise Records) hitting the upper echelons of the charts. They’re a band who offer something a little different – sure they often attack with the vehemence of post-hardcore, but electronic flourishes, old school metal influences and even a touch of Southern rock inform their distinct sound. They feature on both the UK and North American legs of the VANS WARPED TOUR.

THE WONDER YEARS need no introduction. Combining powerful hook-infused songs filled with engaging stories and personal reflections, the band recently released their fourth ‘The Greatest Generation’ which sold twice as many copies in the week of release as their third album did. This year has also seen them release ‘Sleeping on Trash’, an album which compiles all of their rarities together in one comprehensive collection.

The profile of WE CAME AS ROMANS looks set to explode with this summer’s release of their third album ‘Tracing Back Roots’. Fronted by dual vocalists David Stephens and Kyle Pavone who contrast caustic growls with clear soaring melodies, the band’s effortless sound clash mixes chugging riffs, intricate leads and a symphonic edge.

Also added to the VANS WARPED TOUR line-up are hip-rock/rock crossover collective AIR DUBAI, Florida’s ANBERLIN, post-hardcore band THE COLOR MORALE, the masked Japanese band FACT, Stockholm-based alt-rocker’s LIKE TORCHES, THE MAINE who recently released their new album ‘Forever Halloween’, hip-hop/punk/indie crossover kings RDGLDGRN, exciting Metalcore from Columbus Ohio’s LIKE MOTHS TO FLAMES, London folkers SKINNY LISTER, the resurgent SUBLIME WITH ROME and the expansive, arena-aimed anthems of British band THE YOUNGER.

These eighteen bands join those originally announced in March: RISE AGAINST, BILLY TALENT, CAPTURE THE CROWN, CROSSFAITH, ITCH, REAL FRIENDS and YELLOWCARD.

Further artists – including two major headliners – will be announced June 17th.

VANS WARPED TOUR can reveal the first seven confirmed acts for the 2013 UK event, which takes place 16th and 17th November at London’s ALEXANDRA PALACE.

RISE AGAINST are the first headliner to be revealed on Monster Energy Main Stage, bringing their arsenal of politically charged melodic hardcore to a London indoor arena for the first time in two years.

Since 1999, Tim McGrath and co have been spreading their progressive message with stunning songs and electric live shows, rising up through the underground to enjoy the kind of mainstream success very few punk rock acts can genuinely lay claim to, including a TOP 40 album with 2011’s “Endgame”. Says Tim:

“As a band that used to open the lowliest of Warped side stages in sun-drenched parking lots across the states, we're elated to be headlining Warped Tour UK as it spreads its wings across the pond.”

With their championing of righteous causes, punk ethos and anthems such as “Saviour”, “Help Is On The Way”, “Make It Stop”, and “Prayer of the Refugee”, RISE AGAINST perfectly capture the spirit of WARPED TOUR, and their headline slot this year is a match made in hardcore heaven.

Joining them are six sensational acts, the first coming in the form of Canadian punk rockers BILLY TALENT.

Going supernova with their “Try Honesty” single back in 2003, BILLY TALENT have racked up the platinum albums, sold out shows and chart positions in the ten years that followed. No strangers to VANS WARPED TOUR, having performed in the US in 2006 and returning for this year’s American run, fans are in for a treat as they bring the room filling sounds of the likes of “The Ex”, “Red Flag”, “Devil On My Shoulder” and “Viking Death March” to a 10,000 strong Ally Pally.

VANS WARPED TOUR is not just about big names and platinum sellers, and prides itself on being the first to bring you the hottest new talent, and this year is no exception. Australia’s CAPTURE THE CROWN come up from down under armed with vicious metallic hardcore laced with hooks so massive their debut video has ratcheted up over 6 million views in little over a year.

“We've all dreamt of playing Warped Tour for basically our whole lives and now we get the chance?” enthuses guitarist Jye Menzies. “It's fucking mind blowing to say the least! We're all extremely excited to travel to the UK and play to fans that haven't had the chance to see us yet. Everyone should expect a show that's full of energy and a fuck load of fun!”

Last year, CROSSFAITH laid waste to the Kevin Says stage, ramming the room and leaving hundreds of fans unable to catch the phenomenal set due to capacity restrictions. This year, VANS WARPED rectify the problem by sticking the Japanese Electro metalcore masters on the Monster Energy Main Stage, to ensure that CROSSFAITH can throw down a much bigger dance metal party in the main hall.

ITCH is no stranger to the punk world, having graced magazine covers, sold out tour posters and radio airwaves while fronting THE KING BLUES. Over four albums and seven years, ITCH’s political spirit was spat out to many, many thousands, refreshed by someone with something to say. With TKB disbanded, ITCH shows no sign of slowing down, and continues to spread his message as a solo artist, with his new work mixing punk, pop, reggae, folk, dubstep and dance and a lyrical finesse that is both flourishing and fearless.

“The first time the Warped Tour came to UK I was there at the front the whole time.” He says. “To be playing Warped UK is an honour. I'm mad excited its gonna go off!”

Currently tearing it up across the US with Senses Fail and Such Gold, REAL FRIENDS Make their UK debut, bringing their suburban Chicago pop-punk to the line up.

"Real Friends is beyond excited to come over to the UK with Warped Tour.” Says bassist Kyle Fassell. “This is one of those moments when you just sit back and really appreciate the opportunities that are thrown your way. Can't wait to hit the UK for the first time, and definitely not the last."

YELLOWCARD leave the Florida sunshine to bring their violin-laced pop-punk to North London. Frontman Ryan Key states:
