‘The Wind Blows’ is the new single from
the All American Rejects, it also happens to be
the third single release from their third album
‘When The World Comes Down’ and it seems
that the band have gone back to basics with the
single playing real toned down poppy-punk.
‘The Wind Blows’ is a lot different
from the previous singles released from the current
All American Rejects album in the way that their
well known melodic charge is gone and has been
replaced with more beautiful sounding softly spoken
vocals from front man Tyson Ritter, which do become
slightly uplifting during the chorus, the song
is a proper wave your lighters in the air moment,
or should I say mobile phones as the All American
Rejects fan base are far from being old enough
to smoke.
With the release of ‘The Wind Blows’
the All American Rejects show that they can drop
their fast infectious sound and still release
a cracking song.
