Style Make Fights are a three piece band from Newcastle,
they formed back in 2005 and have built up a steady
fan base in their local area and are now on the
look out to build up their fan base everywhere else
in the UK as they release their debut single ‘While
You Can, When You’re Young’ on the 16th
November.
‘While You can, When You’re Young’,
is an indie rock song that has a melodic feel
to it thanks to front man James’s unique
sounding catchy vocals, the guitars and bass feature
plenty of bounce which also adds to the catchy
nature of the song, however the song takes a slight
nosedive towards the end where the vibe and general
feel of the song changes, with some strange sounding
vocals coming in.
The downside to style Make Fights is that nothing
about their debut single makes them stand out
from all the other underground bands that are
in the same situation as them trying to make a
name for themselves and I do feel that they are
going to struggle unless they release something
better in the near future.
