Cars on Fire are a rock band from the UK, Dig Your
Own Grave is their debut release.
Looking at the track lengths this is a short
album, so i was expecting really fast ripping
tracks, the tracks are fast but not really ripping,
perhaps its so short because they ran out of ideas,
or doesn't want to bore its audience with lengthy
opuses. I noticed that alot of the tracks seemed
to sound the same, the vocals aren't original,
a bit shouty with melodic singing but all the
vocals are clear, the guitar work is good but
boring really, the tracks should be exciting but
there not, not to me anyway, i'm sure a lot of
scene kids will love this album and become there
next favorite band, but im not much of a fan as
it sounds generic and could have been done by
a million bands as they mostly sound the same.
Dig Your Own Grave is out to buy on the 12th
of October.
3/5
