Arbogast are a Swedish rock band, Certainties and
Doubts is their 2nd album
This album has some good moments, but seems to
amble along a bit really, the vocals are hit an
miss sometimes but i didn't like them at first
but they've grown on me, the drumming is simple
steady and provides a good beat, the tracks sometimes
drag on a bit, sometimes the tracks don't really
go anywhere, there are guest guitarists doing
the solos, which fit well into the tracks that
their on, the album is a bit plain at times, and
some of the things attempted don't seem to sit
right, perhaps that's the point. I cant really
say if i like this album or not, its kinda 50/50,
but there's nothing on here that will sway me
either way there's not much i like and there's
not much i dont like, bit of a i can put it on
and just ignore it as there's nothing really on
here that grabs my attention
Certainties and Doubts is out now.
3/5
