I remember back in May Rob went along and reviewed
Cobra Starship in Birmingham and front man Gabe
Saporta fell off the stage and nearly landed on
Rob and his camera equipment, which really wouldn’t
of been a good sight or end result, but luckily
Rob manages to break Gabe’s fall preventing
him from any serious damage and leaving him with
just a dented ego, well it now seems that Gabe and
the boys are back to their best with their new single
‘Good Girls Go Bad’ which is released
on the 19th October.
‘Good Girls Go Bad’ is your standard
elctro-pop-punk track, it has that classic Cobra
Starship feel about it with the only difference
being that Leighton Meester pop’s in for
a few guest vocals, her vocals are alright, but
overall the song has a real cheesy feel about
it, it might have you getting your groove on,
on the dance floor but I am sure it is a song
that you will soon forget once you have listened
to it.
Cobra Starship are never going to be everyone’s
new favourite band, they have got their steady
fan base and I am sure that it will rise ever
so slightly over the next few months , give ‘Good
Girls Go Bad’ a listen and decide for yourself
if you like what Cobra Starship are all about.
2/5
