A song that starts extremely well, continues alright,
but tends to
finish up, over all, fairly well. I want to hear
some more.
It takes a little while to get your head around
the off-beat intro, and
it isn't until a few bars into the verse that
you realise where you are
and can begin comfortably tapping along. But what
comes with the verse,
is the vocal. Which I just can't quite figure
out. It's a bit whispy but
a bit, oh I don't know. It's perfectly tuneful,
it just, argh. It's the
kind of vocal I'd expect to hear on the acoustic
version of the song, if
you know what I mean? It just lacks the tiny bit
of oomph that the rest
of the music openly boasts. It isn't a heavy track,
but the guitar bass
and drums are just so clicky, they're off beat
yet amazingly tight and,
I just love it. I can't even remember where I
was going with the vocal,
fuck it, this is a very good song.
From the title, I was expecting some crazy metal
number but instead, I
am graced, with an excellent alternative rock
track that I'm extremely
fond of. And sadly no b-side. What's gwannin?
Sort it out.
4/5
