The Unfortunate Incident are a Band from Sheffield
that play indie/punk/country/folk music. Build Your
Own Ark is there debut release on the Pick out a
good note records label.
Right from the off its a sound thats been done
to death, it it had been a year or two ago, it
would have done good, its a dry indie sound,it
has its catchy moments every now and again, belongs
is a fairly decent track, before going a bit droll
again. The band plays there instruments well,
but would ask for something a bit more lively.
The vocals are dry and border on whiny at times,
but have there decent moments, but seems very
raw production wise, there's no polish to it,
which is good. Overall its a solid effort if dry
and lifeless at times, abit more excitement is
must for there next effort.
Build Your Own Ark is available to buy now.
