Soul Control are a Hardcore/Punk/Alt band form the
US, Cycles is there new album released on an Indie
label called Bridge Nine Records.
The album kicks right in with Beyond Words, the
music kicks of at a high pace, and the vocals
are not far behind, and instantly i dont like
it, why shout when singing could do, the second
track is something a bit more catchy, but the
vocals still suck but are marginally better than
the frantic opener.
The album mainly consists of a repetitive fast
pace, the band members have skill in what they
do to play fast like that and produce some kind
of a tune, but its unimaginative, thankfully the
tracks aren't that long, many averaging under
3 minutes. I think it should be back to the drawing
board and mix things up abit more for there next
album, as this is boring and repetative at times.
Cycles is available to buy now.
3/5
