Dr Slaggleberry are a 3 piece progressive math-rock/metal
instrumental band from the UK, The Slagg Factory
is released on the Crash records label.
I have to say i do like the album art work, and
the title of the opening track is familar, as
it seems to have come from American Psycho, a
cash machine tells Patrick Bateman to feed it
a stray cat. Being progressive i expected it to
be abit all over the place, and it sounds like
a co-ordinated jam session, where it all fits
but they just seem to be playing what they like,
its really boring, its not doing much for me as
a fan of instrumental rock/metal, theres little
doubt that these guys have talent, but im sure
it could be better put to use making something
a bit more instrumentally melodic, like there
third track 845, which is easier on the ears for
the most part before going back to the chaos.
The Slagg Factory is released on the 12th of
October.
