Placebo are due to release their new single ‘The
Never-Ending Why’ on the 7th September and
I have to say that it is the best Placebo song that
I have ever heard, the song is lifted from their
amazing new album ‘Battle For The Sun’
which happens to feature some of the finest work
Placebo have ever done.
The opening instrumental part of ‘The Never-Ending
Why’ is nearly pretty much as epic as the
closing moments of the new Biffy Clyro song, ‘That
Golden Rule’; the song is full of energy,
extremely infectious with heavy instrumental work
that packs a massive punch, seriously forget about
all those songs you thought were your favourite
Placebo song’s all those years ago as ‘The
Never-Ending Why’ will instantly be your
new favourite once it crosses your path.
‘The Never-Ending Why’ deserves to
bring Placebo a new number one, but it won’t
because the charts these day’s aren’t
like they were say ten years ago, anyway expect
Placebo to blow the roof of the various arena’s
they play in December when they launch into ‘The
Never-Ending Why’.
5/5
