If you have read my previous reviews of Daniel Merriweather
releases then you will already know that I don’t
have a high opinion of Mark Ronson’s new best
friend, but it seems that the rest of the country
think highly of him as his debut album ‘Love
And War’ went straight in at number 2 of the
Official UK album chart selling well over 180,000
copies and it seems that his singles have also brought
him a lot of success with both ‘Red’
and ‘Change’ hitting the top 5 of the
UK singles chart.
The new single by Daniel Merriweather is called
‘Impossible’ the song is easily going
to follow in the footsteps of Daniels previous
singles and chart quite highly, the man is like
a male version of Amy Winehouse vocally as he
brings a bit of soul and funk to his music and
this is exactly the style of music that Daniel’s
new single ‘Impossible’ is, it’s
very soul full and shows of the man’s positive
sounding vocals.
Despite not personally being able to get into
Daniel Merriweather, I can understand why he is
big within the music scene, and I also feel he
deserves all the success he gets as he has come
a long way since the days of busking on a street
corner in Melbourne just to live and ear a buck,
sadly I can never see me getting into the music
of Daniel Merriweather.
