Tryangle are a 3 piece Portuguese band that consists
of Gonçalo da Silva Nova on the vocals and
guitar, Nuno Maio on the bass and Ricardo Castro
on the drums. Tryangle is their debut self titled
album
The album from the off has a decent riff, heavy
with a slight electronic twinge to it. The album
is very guitar driven and the vocals sound like
a bit dave Grohl esq.The guitars sound very progressive
and well delivered, the songs seem to build to
point where they explode. Each song is different,
from progressive to just rocking out, which sometimes
happens in the songs themselves. the breakdowns
are in the right places ans fit well into the
songs. The songs are well put together, no confusion
in the structure. These songs would be be great
to hear live. The last track, Universe, is a stoner
rock song, that sounds great and goes on for a
while clocking in just under 11 and a hlaf minutes.
This is a decent debut album from this Portuguese
trio.
