Above Them are a three piece from West Yorkshire
they have been busy working on their new album ‘Blueprint
For A Better Time’ which is due to be released
later in the year but in the mean time the band
will be releasing their new single ‘For Those
Who Paved The Way’.
‘For Those Who Paved The Way’ has
a lot going for it, it is a well written and produced
single that is full of huge hooks, bouncy bass
lines and a big sing-a-long chorus that will leaving
you smiling from side to side once you have finished
singing along word for word. The song runs for
just under 4minutes and it goes through so many
twists and turns within that time but keeps the
melody and big sound throughout.
Just by listening to ‘For Those Who Paved
The way’ I realise that Above Them are serious
musicians and they know what they want and if
their forthcoming new album features more songs
of a high quality as found here then they are
going to be an UK band worth watching out for.
