To coincide with their appearance at Download Festival
this weekend Shinedown are releasing their new single
‘Second Chance’, the single will be
released on the 22nd June which is a week after
they play the second stage at the festival.
The thing I find odd about the single release
is that it is not included on the bands current
album ‘Sound Of Madness’ which was
released back in March of this year, but the album
is then being released again on the 29th June
with a slightly reshuffled track listing which
includes ‘Second Change’.
‘Second Chance’ is a real strong
sounding sing-a-long stadium rock song, the song
is about personal redemption and is a song that
Shinedown have written and recorded with perfection,
if you thought their singles ‘The Sound
OF Madness’ and ‘Devour’ were
good then you are going to fall in love with ‘Second
Chance’ as it is the strongest sounding
Shinedown single so far.
Once you give ‘Second Chance’ a
listen you will find yourself listening to it
on repeat and you will not get bored of the track
because there is something about it that makes
it sound so much better and more appealing on
each and every listen.
5/5
