Juliette And the Licks formed back in 2003 as a five piece and released
their debut album 'You're Speaking My Language' in May 2004 which then
saw the band go through a number of line up changes and tour the country
several times playing to thousands of fans. The band are back again and
are just about to release their second album 'Four On the Floor' upon
us and we have 'Hot Kiss' which is the first single to come from the album
to review.
'Hot Kiss' is a song Juliette Lewis wrote on the road about missing her
guy. Juliette wrote the lyrics and the bands guitarist Tod Morse demoed
the music and put it on a CD for Juliette to work with. The song is pure
rock and roll and full of attitude and is catchy enough to get new fans
hooked to this band.
I have always liked Juliette And The Licks and this single is just what
you would expect from them and I cant wait to hear the new album 'Four
On the Floor'
4/5
