I have put myself through listening to a wide range
of music recently and so far I have come across
two really odd sounding artists, the first was The
Reverend Peyton’s Big Damn Band who are a
band that really can’t be taken seriously
and the second is Son Of Dave.
Son Of Dave is a one man band equipped with his
harmonica and his very own distinctive vocals,
he is actually a Canadian born singer-songwriter
called Benjamin Darvill who was best known during
the 90’s for his time in The crash Test
Dummies
The music from Son Of Dave really isn’t
for me, his new single ‘Ain’t Going
To Nike Town’ is actually his third single
from his third album titled ‘03’ and
is apparently many people’s favourite song
from that album which leaves me feeling thankful
that I haven’t put myself through the pain
of listening to the whole album as ‘Ain’t
Going To Nike Town’ is dreadful in my opinion
and is bad on my ears.
It seems that Son Of Dave is slowly making a
name for himself as a solo artist all over the
world but I for one won’t be joining the
Son Of Dave fan base now or in the near future.
