Single

Ever since I reviewed the debut In Case Of Fire
single ‘This Time We Stand’ I have wondered
if the band fully deserve all the hype they have
been getting as the single was alright and did have
quite a powerful sound but after a few listens I
started to slowly go off the song realising that
it wasn’t as great as I originally thought,
the band then went on to open up on the Kerrang
Tour and have also supported many major bands such
as Queens Of the Stone Age, Biffy Clyro, Funeral
For A Friend, Cancer Bats and many others and now
they are ready to release their new single ‘Enemies’
to coincide with their massive UK tour supporting
Fightstar and I have to admit the song is bloody
good and my mind is made up.
In Case OF Fire are totally worth the hype as their
new single ‘Enemies’ is one hell of
a catchy rock masterpiece, the song runs for less
than 3minutes but during that time it is crammed
with big rocking guitar riffs, more bounce than
a fat person falling down the stairs, really hectic
constant drumming and a really strong set of melodic
vocals from front man Steven Robinson who totally
rocks out during the melodic chorus.
If the bands long awaited debut album ‘Align
The Planets’ features more songs with the
good quality of ‘Enemies’ then it
could well top many people’s album of 2009
once the year is out and its only the end of April
now.
5/5
