I remember reviewing Ane Brun’s album ‘Changing
Of The Season’ not so long ago and it was
one hell of an hard task as to be fair her music
is nowhere near something that I am into and it
was hard to review it with an open mind, but I took
up the task and completed it, well now Ane Brun
is releasing her new single ‘The Puzzle’
on the 18th May and luckily for me my mind was made
up on the single back when I reviewed the album.
‘The Puzzle’ is quite an eerie sounding
song, it sounds like something you would hear
from The Snowman movie but also sounds very much
like the Icelandic sensation that is Björk,
where the backing music is very spooky and eerie
sounding, the vocals on the other hand are really
brought to life with Ane’s real fast flowing
melodic vocal style that you can’t help
but love.
If you prefer your female artists to be like
Björk rather than say Lily Allen or Kate
Nash, then Ane Brun is the girl for you as she
is fits in nicely with that style of music and
‘The Puzzle’ works wonders.
