Lily Allen has just finished her massive headline
tour across the UK, all the shows were sold out
and everyone has been saying such good things about
the shows, Lily is currently in America touring
and trying to crack the music scene over there,
she will however be back in July and august to play
some summer festival dates at some of the major
English festivals.
The details on the second single to be released
from ‘It’s Not Me, It’s You’
have been announced now and that single will be
‘Not Fair’ and its due to be released
on the 11th May and Lily hope’s that it
is going to follow on in the footsteps of the
album and the first single ‘The Fear’,
by getting to number one in the charts.
‘Not Fair’ is a real happy feeling
poppy song that’s mainly about sex, sexual
frustration and people being selfish in the bedroom,
the lyrics are really fun and witty like you would
expect from Lilly Allen, the opening backing music
has a slight western feeling about it, and seconds
in Lily Allen takes you on a fast paced melodic
ride with her ever so clear and catchy vocals.
It’s good to see Lily Allen at the top
of her game, ‘Not Fair’ is so different
from her previous single ‘The Fear’
but just as good, give it a few listens and you
won’t be able to shake the catchiness out
of your head for a little while.
5/5
