Soul Destruction are a 3 piece Industrial Metal
band from the Uk, with the debut album,The band
stated out as a studio project.
The opening track kicks off right away with some
heavy riffing, and lyrics that are spat with some
venom, with some attempted singing in the chorus,
with some spoken word spinets thrown in to. the
second track starts off eastern influenced, before
going metal a sign that the band wants to mix
it up a little bit, not satisfied with just being
out and out metal, its highly charged and sound
a bit like rage against the machine and NIN mixed
in the Soul Destruction stirring pot.Its all very
well put together being mixed by Tim Turin, the
band are a bunch of solid musicians giving it
there all and showing great skill while there
at it, Its made to be played live and loud, the
lyrics are at times political and sometimes even
predictable. The tracks seem a bit repetitive and
boring in themselves and maybe could have been
doing with being a bit shorter, other than that
its a hard album to fault.
Soul Destruction's debut album is released on
16-04-09 via union black Records
4/5
