Art Brut took twelve days out in December to record
their new album ‘Art Brut Vs Satan’
the album is now ready and will be released on the
29th April, but in the mean time the band are releasing
their brand new single ‘Alcoholics Unanimous’
Now this is the kind of music that makes me want
the nice hot summer weather to come along as it’s
the fast paced bouncy music that’s best
listened to really loud whilst enjoying a nice
pint of beer or cider depending of personal preference.
‘Alcoholics Unanimous’ is a very
upbeat bouncy track that flows extremely fast,
the lyrics are random with the band signing about
drink, you will easily find yourself singing “Bring
me tea, bring me coffee, I’ve been up all
night I’ve been making mistakes” as
the lyrics are so infectious.
The b-side ‘Jus Desserts’ is just
as good as the main single, it’s another
really fast paced bouncy song that is full of
random lyrics and is a song all about food with
front man Eddie Argos singing “Whenever
I get hurt, I skip dinner and have a big dessert”,
now as far as random lyrics go that’s pretty
damn random, great song though.
Art Brut stormed on to the music scene in 2005
and since then they have never disappointed us,
there music is always fun and fresh and the perfect
sound track to your summer, the forthcoming album
‘art Brut Vs Satan’ is bound to be
a blast once it’s released.
5/5
