I never thought the day would come when I admitted
to liking Lady GaGa, over the past few months I
have seen her plastered across the pages of The
Sun and Daily Star newspapers but never really took
much notice of her music until I heard that she
got to number 1 in the singles chart with ‘Just
Dance’, I checked the song out and thought
it was ok but it didn’t really do much for
me, now Lady GaGa is back with ‘Poker Face’
her new single which is released in during the middle
of April.
‘Poker Face’, is like pretty much
every pop song that’s coming out at the
moment, in the way that the song is crammed full
of dance beats and synths, everyone’s doing
it these days from Britney Spear, to Lilly Allen
and even Madonna, some do it good and some do
it bad, luckily for Lady GaGa she knows exactly
what she is doing and has created a killer song
that is bound to follow in the success of the
previous single and hit the top of the singles
chart. The only downside to the single is the
lyrics they are quite cheesy and very repetitive
but you tend to not take much notice of that as
after all the song has all the elements of a dance
floor filler.
If anyone wants to know how dance pop should
be then they need check out Lady GaGa and get
some tips from her as she certainly has the winning
formula and I can see it doing her some good well
into the future.
