In This Moment have been together since 2005 and
since that time they have released 2 albums, with
their latest album ‘The Dream; set to be re-released
in the middle of April with some new tracks and
getting the usual treatment re-issued albums get
these days.
During April In This Moment will head to the
UK to take part in the Give it A Name Introducing
tour as well as playing shows on the main UK leg
of the now very down scaled Give It A Name Festival,
to coincide with this the band are releasing their
brand new single ‘Forever’ just days
before the tour starts.
‘Forever’ is a real melodic rock
and roll song, it’s got the sound that would
appeal to a wide variety of people for example
I am pretty sure that fans of Madina Lake would
appreciate the song as much as fans of Ozzy Osbourne
and that’s because they have that big cross
over sound and appeal. Front women Maria Brink
has a stunning voice, its strong, striking and
pure beautiful, the guitar riffs aren’t
that heavy really but they have that all so serious
grown up feeling up them, ‘Forever’
is the best example of metal-core gone serious.
If In This Moment aren’t pretty damn huge
by the time 2009 is out then I will be in shock
as the band have been rising ever since they came
on the scene, front women Maria Brink is currently
the most photographed women in rock music with
her photos plastered over many different magazines
including the current issue of Front and now the
spotlight is on her, the band have the perfect
opportunity to show the world what they are made
of musically.
