BM Linx are the latest electronic rock music band
who are hoping for a lot of success across the world,
over the last year I would say at least quarter
of the CD’s I have been sent to review have
featured a bit of electronics within the music,
as it now seems to be the kind of thing that all
the cool kids now want to hear, it’s just
a shame that the music scene has got this way now
as anyone can add a few electronics to their sound
and think everything sounds cool, luckily for BM
Linx they don’t just think they sound cool
they do sound cool and very big as well.
‘Kids On Fire’ is the new single
from BM Linx and most probably the only song you
have heard from the band at this point, as up
until now they have been a very underground American
based band who actually self released their debut
album but have now since gone on and been signed
by Crazy Factory who will be releasing the bands
second album ‘Black Entertainment’
across the world in March.
Anyway back to the single ‘Kids On Fire’,
the song starts with a strong sounding bassline
and constant sounding drum beats with those ever
so average electronic synths coming in and taking
over the song, but what really makes the song
stand out is the strong sounding vocals and the
thick guitar riffs that come in as the song reaches
its heaviest point.
As said above the song is really is really good
sounding, now it will just be interesting how
well the guys have done in creating an whole album
full of quality songs, luckily their isn’t
long to wait as the album is just around the corner.
4/5
