The Saturdays seem to be going from strength to
strength, they were named as one of the biggest
breakthrough acts of 2008, they released the awesome
power pop balled that was ‘Issues’ which
took the UK singles chart by storm, they are currently
pleasing all the men across the world whilst being
cover girls on the latest issue of FHM magazine
and they have now announced that they are releasing
the official comic relief single which happens to
be a cover of the classic Depeche Mode song ‘Just
Can’t Get Enough’ and its bound to hit
the number one spot once it is released on the 2nd
March.
To be fair ‘Just Can’t Get Enough’
probably wasn’t the best choice of a song
for The Saturdays to cover but they have gave
it their best shot and done well in creating a
really catchy synth driven pop cover song, the
song really does remind me of the cheesiness of
Gina G if anyone remembers her from the late 90’s,
don’t take that as a bad thing as cheesiness
in pop music is what it’s all about.
At the moment The Saturdays can’t do anything
wrong, they are quickly rising to the top and
this single is going to be the one that gets them
proper noticed and make them be the be the next
big all female pop band.
