Rise Against are everyone’s favourite American
based political band, they now have five studio
albums under their belt with the most recent offering
being ‘Appeal To Reason’, which was
released towards the end of 2008 on Interscope Records.
It’s safe to say that Rise Against are
current at their best, they seem to get stronger
after each and every release and that is exactly
what has happened with the release of ‘Appeal
To Reason’ and they are now set to release
‘Audience Of One’ as a single on the
2nd March.
‘Audience Of One’ is one of the more
slow paced Rise Against songs and it comes across
quite like a massive sounding power balled, front
man Tim Mcilrath’s vocals are really strong
and melodic and you will find yourself singing
along to the chorus lyrics of “Maybe we've
outgrown all the things that we once loved, Run
away, But what are we running from?" as they
come across that strong and melodic sounding.
Rise Against are in a very powerful position
at the moment, their music is going out to more
people these days as they climb fast from underground
heroes to mainstream successful rock stars, which
means they are getting their message across with
their political themed songs.
