Back in April 2008 The Rileys one XFM’s single
of the week with their debut single ‘Jimmy
Is A Lunatic’, they have since gone on and
released their debut EP and have tried to clock
in as many live shows across the country as they
can.
The first single to be released from their debut
EP was ‘Baby Blue’, the song is a slow
paced indie track with a really a really strong
sounding loud and catchy chorus and a really big
sounding outro, the band are now ready to release
‘Do You Feel Me?’ which happens to be
the next single from the EP.
‘Do You Feel Me?’, has an overall bigger
sound than the previous single release, it has bouncy
bass lines, thick guitar riffs and a really unique
set of lead vocals which is a great starting point
for any indie band these days, the chorus is quite
repetitive yet so catchy with front man Joseph singing
‘Do You Fell Me’ time and time again
with his utterly lovable voice.
If you weren’t too keen on the previous single
release from The Riley’s then I think you
really need to give ‘Do You Feel Me?’
a good listen as it ticks all the right boxes, it
has all the elements of a good song and overall
has much more going for it than any of the bands
previous single releases.
4/5
