The new album from Lily Allen called It’s
Not Me, It’s You’ has been completed
for many months now but her record label Regal Recordings
have been putting off releasing the album for months,
they didn’t want to release it before Christmas
because most releases get washed out in the Christmas
rush so instead they have decided to release the
album on the 9th February which is guaranteed to
give Lily a very hard working but fun year.
The album release date may still be a few weeks
away but Lily Allen has just treated her fans
to the first single to be taken from the album
called ‘The Fear’ which is released
on the 26th January which is exactly two weeks
before the album release.
‘The Fear’ is exactly what we have
come to expect from Lily Allen, it’s fun,
its upbeat, its full of cleaver written yet witty
lyrics, and Lily’s vocals are just as smooth
and beautiful sounding as ever, and a bit of electronics
and you have the winning formula and the most
perfect Lily Allen song to date.
I love Lily Allen’s music, always have
and I could listen to ‘The Fear’ over
and over again and never get bored of it, Lily
Allen is currently hot property and is on her
way to a mega successful 2009.
5/5
