Now this is what I’m talking about, 'So Long'
which happens to be the new single from The Datsuns
is short but sweet.
'So Long' is a song that’s full of attitude
and has thunderous guitar riffs that’s got
a great mix of punk meets metal and is so damn
catchy and powerful, the song may only run for
just over 2minutes but as soon as the song finishes
I am pretty sure you will find yourself pressing
the play button again and again and most possible
again.
The b-side to the single is a new track called
'What's Happening To Me?' the song is quite raw
and tinny sounding, and at the same time it is
crammed full of energy and creativity, the song
runs for just under 2minutes which shows to me
that The Datsuns are newly found masters of short
powerful tracks.
The Datsuns released their latest album 'Head
Stunts' back in October 2008 and fellow Alternative
Vision reviewer Thom loved the album claiming
it to be brilliant from start to finish.
'So Long' and 'What's Happening To Me?' are the
first songs I have ever heard from The Datsuns
which is mainly down to me blocking the band out
of my life, which is now something I regret as
after hearing these songs I think The Datsuns
are fan-fucking-tastic.
