Enter Shikari are a band who formed when they were still in school back
in 2003 and since then they have spent the best part of the past three
years touring all over the country which also saw them play the Gibson/My
space stage at this years download festival. Many major and large indie
labels have approached the band, but the bands have decided for the time
being, to release their music on their own label.
When I first put this track on I wondered if I had the right cd in my
cd player as the start sounds like something you would hear in the clubs
in Ibiza but soon after the brutal screamo vocals come in which strangely
work pretty well over the dance sounds. This band sound exciting, very
brutal and come across very energetic. Mothership is a very good single
and a lot different to most screamo music.
Overall this song is oddly good and it’s pretty unique from anything
I’ve heard before.
