Innerpartysystem have been making waves in the UK
over the past 12 months now and it seems that every
time they play shows over here or release new material
they get more popular, they have played some pretty
huge shows here with their biggest show to date
being a support to Linkin Park on the Projekt Revolution
tour playing in front of 60,000 people and also
when they played the O2 Wireless festival back in
the summer of 2008.
Well its now the start of 2009 and Innerpartysystem
have announced a batch of headline dates that
run from the end of January right until the 5th
February, the venues they are playing at are pretty
small club sized venues and its pretty much guaranteed
that all the shows on the tour will sell out and
they will be back over in the UK a few months
later to play at even bigger venues. Anyway just
a few days after the tour ends Innerpartysystem
are releasing their brand new single 'don't Stop'
which is taken from them self titled debut album.
'Don't Stop', is the first song I ever heard
from Innerpartysystem, it was on a sampler CD
that I got sent back in the early part of 2008,
I was instantly impressed and 8 months on I am
still impressed with the song. You can tell that
Innerpartysystem are well influenced with mixing
dance music with rock music and they are extremely
good at it and I would even rate them up there
with the best of the bunch such as The Prodigy,
Pendulum and even Nine Inch Nails.
The song is full of electronics and forceful
soundscapes, the vocals are as loud, rocky and
infectious sounding as you would expect from any
band that attempts this mixed genre of music.
Without a doubt 2009 is the year that Innerpartysystem
are going to rise to the top, there will be no
stopping them and expect to see them over in the
UK on a number of occasions as they get bigger
and bigger
5/5
