Single Review
Pendulum - ShowndownPendulum - Showdown

Pendulum had their most successful year to date in 2008, with their second album 'In Silico' selling thousands of copies worldwide, the band spent the summer touring the festival circuit which saw them play shows pretty much all over the world, and I have actually lost count on how many times the band have toured across the UK over the past 12 months.

It’s now the start of 2009 and Pendulum have decided to start the year with the release of their new single 'Showdown', which is being released on the 5th January.

'Showdown' is one of the songs from Pendulum's latest album 'In Silico' that really stands out straight away, the song is crammed full of energy and has enough synths and dance beats to keep the original Pendulum fans happy whilst also packing enough rocking beats to keep the newly found rock fans happy.

This is Pendulum at their best, and I am sure you have already heard the single, but if you haven’t then I would advise you to give it a listen as this is something quite special from one of the hardest working bands around at the moment.

5/5
