Over the past couple of years Fightstar have become
one of the hardest working English bands, they released
their second full length album 'One Day Son, This
will All Be Yours' back in 2007, they then went
on to take part in the massive 2008 Kerrang tour
which ran all over the country throughout January
this year, shortly after they went on to embark
on their own headline tour called the 'Death Car
tour' and have also played most of the major UK
festivals across the summer as well as releasing
an album full of b-sides and rare tracks in December
called 'Alternative Endings'.
If that’s not hard working enough Fightstar
are now back with a brand new single 'The English
Way' which is taken from the bands forthcoming still
untitled third full length studio album, the song
is about the broken English society and how to try
and rebuild it. The song is as strong sounding as
we have come to expect from Fightstar now, Charlies
vocals are as clear and listenable as ever, the
song flows really smoothly and the ever so catchy
chorus is the main highlight of the single, there
will be no escaping this song once the radios pick
up on it.
Fightstar don’t seem to want to stop at anything,
they have already proved how serious they are about
their music after so many people doubted them, they
have now proved they are extremely hard working
and I personally can’t wait to hear album
number 3. Fightstar are heading out on tour with
Feeder during October and November as well as playing
a few select headline dates. 4/5
