Still not heard the new Alkaline Trio album? Well
after a listen or two of the bands new single 'I
Found Away' I’m sure you will be more than
tempted to head out and get the album. 'Agony And
Irony' is one of the best Alkaline Trio albums released
to date, it’s right up there with the darkness
of 'Good Mourning', the radio friendliness of 'Crimson'
and brilliantness of 'Maybe I'll Catch Fire', the
whole mixture is living proof of how and why Alkaline
Trio are fastly becoming one of the most important
punk rock bands.
'I Found Away' is many peoples favourite track from
'Agony And Irony' including Alkaline Trio frontman
Matt Skiba, the man loves the song so much and it
is so easy to see why, just give the fast paced
infectious chorus a listen and you will be swept
into the song like a vicious hurricane that you
just can’t escape. 'I Found Away' is very
upbeat and very catchy and quite a creative song
for Alkaline Trio, taking a different approach from
what they normally do.
Alkaline Trio seem to have that cross over effect
where true punks really love them and also the
more teeny bopper style kid whose feeling adventurous
find them instantly appealing and if any song
is going to bring the band a massive flurry of
new fans in then it’s going to be 'I Found
Away', it’s got everything that you could
possibly want in an Alkaline Trio song.
