The Automatic have just released their debut album 'Not Accepted Anywhere'
through B-Unique records. To be honest they are one of the most exciting
new bands I have heard in a long time and are definitely going to go far
and win many awards for the best new band.
If you have ever heard one of the bands singles you will know how different
and catchy this band really are, their debut single 'Recover' is a fast
paced disco-punk song. The bands second single 'Raoul' was a grower for
me, the first few times I listened to it I wasn’t to impressed but
the more I listened the more it grew on me, the track has a great guitar
riff that runs through out most of the song also has some quality drumming
and catchy vocals. The bands third single 'Monster' is the best they have
released yet and one of the most unique catchy tracks I have heard all
year that will appeal to almost everyone.
The rest of the album is just as good with such quality catchy songs
such as opener 'That's What She Said', 'Keep Your Eyes Peeled' and 'On
The Campaign Trail' being the best of the rest. The album finishes with
'Rats' which starts off with loads of electro dance beats and then the
vocals come in shortly after another quality catchy song and a good end
to a stunning album.
I recommend everyone to buy this album, as this band are going to go
far and I don’t think you will come across a more unique and more
exciting UK band this year. This year is The Automatics year.
