Sanzen are a five piece hardcore band from the Midlands signed to In At
The Deep End Records and 'This Is Gun City' is the bands debut 4 track
ep.
From start to finish this ep is hard, heavy, aggressive and full of energy.
It’s opening track 'I'll Be Leaving' is so impressive but track
number 2 'Modus Operandi' is my favourite track the guitars and drums
are blistering and Jon Eley vocals sound perfect and so energetic alongside
this. The ep finishes with 'I Knew This Day Would Come For Years' which
maintains the energy this whole ep has had and leaves you wanting more
from this band when it finishes.
This 4-track ep is a sampler from the bands forthcoming debut album,
which you just know is going to be worth the wait and could make Sanzen
very big once released.
4/5
