The Futureheads are back and ready to release their
third full length studio album 'This Is Not The
World', but a week before they do that they are
releasing a brand new single 'Radio Heart', a single
they hope will give the album some promotion before
it is released.
'Radio Heart' opens with a really clean, chilled
drum beat and quite mellow simple guitar riffs,
the Northern vocals soon come in and the song
then bursts into a really catchy vibe, the vocals
are catchy and the song has an overall poppy indie
feeling about it, the lyrics become quite repetitive
but they don’t out stay their welcome, the
song finishes with a really odd fade out which
doesn’t work too well.
With 'Radio Heart' The Futureheads are staying
quite true to their sound but at the same time
they sound a lot more confident and more polished
as a band, the fans are going to love 'Radio Heart'
and they are guaranteed to gain some new fans
along the way especially if they gain anymore
huge support slots on stadium tours.
4/5
