Grace Solero are simply quite amazing, they are
a band worth checking out and a band who are bound
to cause a lot of excitement, they have a rocking
sound with big guitar riffs and spot on constant
drumming with Grace's vocals running over the top
which sounds like Skin from Skunk Anansie mixed
with Alanis Morrisette. Grace Solero released their
debut album 'New Moon' earlier in the year, it had
some great moments on it with one of the best songs
being 'Troops' which happens to be the new single
from Grace Solero.
'Troops' is a big song, it’s soft rock
with big vocals, the main vocals come from Grace
which sound so similar to those of Skin from Skunk
Anansie here, her vocals are so loud, strong and
clear, then the backing vocals come from Dan,
his vocals are quite repetitive but stand out
really well from Grace's vocals, the two working
together are pretty spot on. The drumming work
is quite fast and constant and the guitar riffs
are delivered with passion and power.
The best bit about Grace Solero is Grace's strong
vocals which are so much stronger and stand out
much more than your average female singer, she
doesn’t have the urge to scream and shout
like some but instead she sings her heart out
in such rocking way. Grace Solero are a band worth
watching over the next couple of years as they
have the potential to become huge especially if
the right people pick up on them.
