The Infadels are your average sounding indie/dance
band who have radio friendliness written all over
their sound, the bands latest single 'Free Things
For Poor People' has recently been getting a lot
of airplay on radio 1 and if that wasn’t enough
promotion for the bands single they have taken to
the streets of London for a bit of reverse busking
where they played 'Free Things For Poor People'
in the streets whilst handing out money to the people
listening, now if this doesn’t get the band
extra exposure then nothing will.
'Free Things For Poor People' is a track that
flows quite well, frontman Bnann's vocals are
quite chilling and features a lot of vibe, the
chorus has a pure sing along feel about it, the
dance beats and synths throughout makes the song
ooze with energy and passion, you can guarantee
this will be the bands biggest crowd pleaser as
they hit the festival circuit this summer.
The band debut album 'We Are Not the Infadels'
was welcomed in the music industry with open arms,
the new single 'Free Things For Poor People' shows
a slight change to the bands sound but for the
better and the bands second album 'Universe In
Reverse' just around the corner promises to give
the band the commercial success they deserve as
long as it offers something new whilst sticking
slightly to their original sound.
3.5/5
