Elliot Minor are about to release their sixth single
release from their debut self-titled studio album,
well that is if you include the re-release of 'Parallel
Worlds' a year after it was originally released,
either way 'Time After Time' is the bands new single
and it is also the opening track to the bands album,
the song is one of the best tracks Elliot Minor
have created and it makes me wonder why it has taken
the band so long to release it as a single.
'Time After Time' is a completely energetic track,
it’s well structured and features three-way
vocal harmonies that work extremely well, this
is Elliot Minor at their best, if you don’t
like this song then you are never going to like
Elliot Minor.
Also included with the single is an instrumental
version of the track that sounds exactly the same
as the main single release just minus the vocals,
it’s quite an interesting addition as you
can clearly see how good musicians Elliot Minor
really are, the track runs for just under 4 minutes
and doesn’t leave you bored at all, when
normally after this amount of time with no vocals
I start to question what I am listening to.
There is no stopping Elliot Minor at the moment,
they are truly outstanding musicians who have
written a whole album of classic tracks. Elliot
Minor have made the right choice in releasing
'Time After Time', it is musically the most technical
song the band have ever written but saying that,
it wouldn’t matter which track Elliot Minor
decided to release next as a single as each one
of their songs have hit written over them.
There will be no escaping Elliot Minor this summer
with their own headline tour calling at most of
the towns/cities across the country and appearances
at pretty much all the major festivals this summer,
there is no excuse for not checking them out.
5/5
