Story Of The Year are back sounding slightly different
than before, a sound that mixes the styles from
there first two albums making a big combined sound,
a sound that works really well. They recently released
their third album 'The Black Swan' and in my opinion
the album is the best the band have made so far
and could well end up being the album of their career.
The first single to be taken from the album is 'Wake
Up'.
It makes sense that Story Of The Year have chosen
to release 'Wake Up' as the first single release
from their new album, the song is the most melodic
song on the album, it does have its more heavier
moments the longer the song goes on, but things
never really get that heavy but balance in the
middle, 'Wake Up' has the perfect balance and
happens to be quite a powerful track.
A year or so ago there was a lot of doubt about
the future of Story Of The Year, and now they
are back better than ever. 'Wake Up' is the perfect
Story Of The Year song, a song that should hopefully
see Story Of The Year back on track to success.
