I Killed Pharaoh - King-Hell BreakthroughI Killed Pharaoh - King-Hell Breakthrough

I Killed Pharaoh are a four piece band made up of life long friends who have always had a passion for heavy rock bands, white shirts and waist coats which you can clearly tell by the bands looks and music, they like to dress in black and white and don’t go far without their waistcoats, their music on the other hand is heavy but not as heavy as you would imagine for a band who love heavy bands.

The band have a wide range of influences from Faith No More, The Wildhearts, Rocket From The Crypt and many others, which can clearly be seen in their debut album 'King-Hell Breakthrough'. The bands debut album 'King-Hell Breakthrough' has been ready for a long time now but the band have been taking their time in getting it released and the time is just about here.

'King-Hell Breakthrough' is not going to give I Killed Pharaoh a breakthrough in the music industry, it’s quite a mixed sounding album which takes elements from Heavy alternative rock and punk and mixes the two together to come up with an overall odd sound. The album features 11 tracks and runs for just over 31 minutes,

There are no outstanding moments on offer throughout the album, it all seems to run on its own but nothing really seems to stand out, the guitars are fairly average sounding along with the drumming, vocalist Ven has his own style of vocals but it doesn’t do anything special for the bands overall sound.

I can’t see many people getting into I Killed Pharaoh in a hurry, the band have taken elements from their influences and come up with a sound that really lacks in excitement, once you have heard one song by these guys you have heard them all.
