Cardiff's Adequate Seven are back with there new album 'Here On Earth'
to prove that they are still one of the hottest underground punk acts
in the UK and this album surely shows that.
The album starts off with 'Splitting Up' which is a song that was first
heard back in August 2005 when the band released it as a single and is
a perfect song for the summer as it is catchy as anything and makes you
want to dance like a mad man. 'Head Up High' is another catchy song and
you will find yourself singing along to the chorus "Stand up hold
your head up high" awesome song. 'Now It's Time' has a bit of a reggae
sound going on and this song totally stands out, surely a song the hardcore
fans will love.
The whole album is full of catchy songs 'Gotta Stay focused' is my favourite
track on the album and songs like 'King Leopold's Ghost' and 'Across The
Bridge' are not far behind.
Here On Earth is definately the perfect soundtrack for the summer, seven
members, loads of brass elements and 12 tracks of sing along dance along
songs. The year 2006 is looking to be a good year for Adequate Seven.
4/5
