Single Review
Elliot Minor - Parallel WorldsElliot Minor - Parallel Worlds

Elliot Minor's self titled debut album is due for release on the 14th April and to celebrate the release of the album and to coincide with it the band have decided to re release a new single or should I say a single as its not exactly new on the 7th April. The single the band have decided to release is 'Parallel Worlds', a song the band originally released nearly a year ago, now I will be honest re-releases really piss me off especially when you have an album of say 12 tracks but instead of releasing a new song you choose to release a song you released many months backs, I can understand why Elliot Minor are re-releasing 'Parallel Worlds' as they have been constantly hyped up over the past 12 months and their debut album has been extremely anticipated, long coming and long delayed and 'Parallel Worlds' is the kind of song that will remind people what they have been waiting for and also gain the band more fans.

'Parallel Worlds' is an infectious poppy rock song that is bound to get lots of air play and introduce the band into the households of many teens around the country, the song has a huge epic orchestral feel about it. The opening keyboard work really drives the song, the bass is bouncy, the guitars are big and bold sounding and the duel vocals from Ed Minton and Alex Davies work really well together.

I have thought Elliot Minor were on the right track to major success since they released this single first time around and now with the re-release of the single, their debut album only days away and a support slot on the current Simple Plan tour, success is nearly theirs.

4/5
