The Getaway Team are a 5-piece band from Guildford,
who formed back in 2006 after meeting whilst attending
the Academy of Contemporary Music. The band have
recently signed a deal with Easy Tiger records and
are gearing up to release their debut EP 'Haven't
You Heard' on the 12th May, but before the band
release their EP they are unleashing their debut
single 'Lost All Hope' on us on the 28th April.
Now if any song could make you get your dancing
feet on and dance like a loon then 'Lost All Hope'
by The Getaway Team is certainly that song. The
song is a really fast paced happy indie song that
will see dance floors filled across the country
at rock clubs and people getting their groove
on at the bands shows. Vocalist Tom Greenwood's
vocals are quite loud and clear, very British
and quite unique, the 4 way backing vocals are
stunning and really adds to the already catchy
chorus, the bass lines are bouncy and the guitars
are rocking.
As far as debut singles go, 'Lost All Hope' by
The Getaway Team has the potential to top the
UK singles chart, if the major radio stations
pick up on this song and heavily play it then
success will be at their finger tips, let’s
just hope the rest of the bands EP is just as
bouncy and catchy as this single.
