 
Elle Milano are a new band to me and I will be honest,
when the bands debut single 'Meanwhile In Hollywood'
came through the door I put it to one side and put
off listening to it for days for two reasons, reason
1 the name Elle Milano sounded like I had just received
the Lilly Allen of 2008 and reason number 2 the
single's artwork is really dull and old fashioned
looking with a family sat down having what seems
like a coffee in the morning, I have since learned
never put a band down just because of their name
and their choice of artwork as 'Meanwhile In Hollywood'
is fantastic and Elle Milano are right up my street.
As soon as 'Meanwhile In Hollywood' started I
was hooked with frontman Adam M. Crisp's vocals
of "suck in, blow out, same air in the same
town, it goes on and on and on" really standing
out and bringing me into the song. The guitars
are pretty big sounding, and the drums stand out
a lot as well, but it really is the vocals that
stand out the most and make 'Meanwhile in Hollywood'
a must listen to song.
The band are soon to release their debut album
'Acres Of Dead Space Cadet's’ and I really
cant wait to listen to it, Elle Milano have the
potential to be quite big and are the latest band
to come out of Brighton, a place that seems to
be a quite happening place in the Alternative
music scene at the moment.
