Moby is back on the scene with a brand new single
entitled 'Alice' the song features Smokey and S.O.
Simple of Nigerian hip-hop group 419 Squad and Aynzil
on vocals. 'Alice' is a song that Moby claims came
across as a mistake. When he was trying out an effect
that he has on a very old proto-distortion pedal,
something was broken on the distortion pedal which
lead to a weird bass feedback that Moby liked and
decided to keep in the song.
'Alice' opens up with a really heavy sounding
distorted bass line as explained above and the
mixed vocals from Smokey and Aynzil work extremely
well with each artist having their own unique
style of vocals. 'Alice' is like an electronic
hip-hop track that oozes in style.
The release of 'Alice' should get Moby back on
track as the song shows that the man has returned
to from, 'Alice' is taken from Moby's forthcoming
new studio album 'Last Night', which I am thoroughly
looking forward to.
