Slaves To Gravity are quite a hyped up band whose debut single 'Big Red'
was hyped up with the music press and the bands fans, the band have currently
been in the studio working with Chris Sheldon who has worked with many
huge bands in the past such as Foo Fighters, Biffy Clyro and Feeder and
has come up with the bands second single 'Meantime' which is an anthemic
sing out loud rocking song.
'Meantime' features some chunky riffs and spot on rock and roll vocals
from Tommy Gleeson that become more appealing the more you listen to the
song, everything seems to be placed together well and the production is
pretty perfect.
The band have the potential to go far and have just completed a tour supporting
the experimental rock band Oceansize. Their debut album is set to be released
sometime in 2008 which feels like quite a long wait but that gives the
band time to concentrate on releasing a great album.
4/5
