Mark Ronson is back with yet another great single and this time he has
Amy Winehouse adding her stunning vocals to the song. The new single is
'Valerie' which happens to be a cover of the classic Zutons track and
is a song that Mark hopes will follow on from the success of his previous
singles 'Oh My God' and 'Save Me'.
The cover of 'Valerie' is a classic and is bound to be a hit for Mark
Ronson, the electronic beats on the song work really well and the huge
chorus with chiming bells and impressive saxophone work sound really good
with Amy Winehouses stunning vocals. Despite what many people think of
Amy Winehouse at the moment, you really can’t fault her vocals and
musical ability.
The b-side to 'Valerie' is an instrumental version of the song and that
is quite good to listen to, but you really do start to miss the wonderful
vocals of Amy Winehouse.
'Valerie' is my favourite song out of the three songs Mark Ronson has
released so far from his gold selling album 'Version' and is bound to
go towards the top of the charts once it's released, songs like this really
do show why Mark Ronson is one of the best DJ's and Producer's in the
world at the moment.
